Malaika Honey
- (currently stocking their Propolis) - Malaika means Angel in Swahili. Propolis
resin is produced by bees from plant extracts mixed with the bees own enzymes.
They use it as a disinfectant to keep the hive sterile.
We can use it as an antibiotic, it soothes inflammations, speeds up healing of
wounds, eases micumatic pains, combats fungal infections and strengthens the
body's immune system.
It can be used internally to treat colds, bronchitis, stomach ulcers,
respiratory disorders, liver and kidney inflammation, ear, nose and throat
infections and toothaches. Externally it will heal cuts, burns, boils, warts,
scabies and other skin infections.

reassuring farmers for a steady reliable long term solution to poverty.
Beekeeping is a suitable crop for the poor farmer in poverty alleviation and is
eco-friendly. The use of intercropping is also promoted so that if one crop may
fail another may be relied upon for household income. Integrated farming
provides a rich nectar source for bees, bees increase yields through pollination
and is a low cost form of eco-friendly income generation. We are currently
working direct with farmers promoting these fundamentals.
